Oral and Poster Presentations
Please see the following guidelines for authors in preparing their oral and poster presentations, as well as for the associated poster flash talks:
Submission of Manuscripts for Distribution at Sysmposium — NO LONGER AVAILABLE
Authors are requested to submit their manuscripts for distribution at the Symposium by 7-May-2023. This is intended to provide preliminary access to manuscripts solely for the use of attendees of the 17th ISRD, and does NOT constitute publication or submission to EPJ. These manuscripts may not be cited or further disseminated.
- To ensure that figures, equations and symbols appear correctly, manuscripts in PDF format are preferred. Word documents (.doc, .docx)will also be accepted. Manuscript format should conform to that for the EPJ submission: https://www.epj-conferences.org/doc_journal/woc/woc_1col.doc.
Submission of Manuscripts for Publication
Manuscript submission is now OPEN to all papers accepted for publication by EPJ Web of Conferences.
- Manuscripts will be published in color in the online version of the journal and they will be printed in black & white in the proceedings book. For this reason, it is important to make sure that all figures are clearly legible in that format. Document format is 17 cm x 25 cm, single column, and manuscripts are limited to 8 pages. Microsoft Word documents are strongly preferred. A Word template (one column) can be downloaded here: https://www.epj-conferences.org/doc_journal/woc/woc_1col.doc.
- If necessary, a print-ready PDF file is acceptable, but the manuscript must adhere strictly to the PDF guidelines provided, as no editing will be done by the publisher. Please read carefully the instructions here: https://www.epj-conferences.org/doc_journal/woc/pdf_guidelines.pdf.
- A signed copyright will be requested in due time, following the peer-review process.
Authors of papers submitted in 2022 are expected to present their work in person at the Symposium. However, papers published in advance that are NOT presented at the Symposium will be placed in a dedicated appendix to the proceedings entitled “ISRD-17 Papers Not Presented.”
